Rafsanjani has an opening article on his site, which implicitly compares SL to Moavieh (an evil caliph),who went astray & became power-corrupted.
What Rafsanjani has on his page is Islamic scientific research, which concludes that to please God, a Government must be democratic & the only legitimacy is through people, not by God’s command.It also shows that no one, not even the Prophet & Imams were infallible, neither were they perfect & all repeatedly said that only people’s will counts when it comes to governing, as the Quran says : People’s will is God’s will.
SL and his goons are enraged because Rafsanjani implicitly voids SL’s qualification.
Rafsanjani, as mentioned on his site, never said anything different since the day before the election (videos prove that.)
His point is not people OR Government (is right.) His point is constitutional law. The constitution says that all power is in the hands of people & the only restriction is all must be in accordance with Islamic principles.
SL’s faction says God appoints SL by inspiring Experts & thereafter they have 2 accept (whatever SL says as godly message.)
Rafsanjani assesses that it’s not Quranic & absolutely against Shiism, and is closer in principle to “Caliphate”, which was invented by enemies of Ali & Shia Ali (Shiites). His islamic jurisprudence is in line with all Grand Ayatollahs,including Khomeini.
