As reported by a source close to the coalition formed around Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani:
Expect fast, positive & radical events. SL is finally submitting to Rafsanjani & coalition. There’ll be a change of tone, lots of coup supporters losing position & some their heads as well. SL hardly met with any of the crazies in the past few weeks, & has daily meetings with coalition members & former commanders of Armed & Police forces. SL accepts that corrupt elements in IRGC, Government & his own camp have caused all this & abused his trust. Sardar Safavi has met SL many times in the past 2 weeks, as have Rafsanjani, Ali Larijani, Mohsen Rezaei & Nateq Nouri. Current stage is to defuse threat coming from rogue coup elements with least damage & restore public trust & calm before 22 Bahman (Anniversary of revolution.)
