In an open letter to Keyhan EiC, Motahari offers Shariatmadari & his “friends” to take a few months off & relax in a nice place, all expenses paid by the true “caring ones of Islamic Revolution” so that Fitna can find an end & flames of discord are extinguished.
He accuses AN of having prepared ground for Fitna in the 1st place. He accuses AN & Coup of insulting & falsely accusing SL, R &all IRI officials of theft. He declares that a majority of Iranians are with moderates, including SL & puts all blame on AN, Shariatmadari & their extremist friends.He adds that according to Shariatmadari’s own definition, he (& his camp) are opponents of Valiy Faqih.
He also says “Imam Sadeq said that God transfers guardianship on those who attack & tarnish the reputation of believers to Satan.”
“Your duty as a news organ is to inform people, not mislead them & abuse their religious beliefs for your political gain.”
“Reconciliation doesn’t mean not to confront violators. If there are trials, then Mousavi, Karroubi & Ahmadinejad should be tried at same time, even if their violations are (truly) not equal.”
